Silviu Nistor brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning tennis, business management, and customer-focused operations. A former junior national champion from Romania and NCAA D1 scholarship athlete at the University of South Florida, Silviu began his professional career in tennis coaching and previously spent six years at The Racquet Club of Lake Bluff, where he built and led the club’s highly successful junior tennis program from 2002 – 2008.

After leaving the club, Silviu spent the past 18 years in senior leadership roles, leading large international teams across North America and Europe and developing expertise in business strategy, operations, team development, and customer experience.

Today, as General Manager and Co-Owner of The Racquet Club of Lake Bluff, Silviu is excited to combine his passion for tennis with his business leadership experience. His focus is on strengthening the club’s member-first culture, supporting the professional development of staff, and ensuring that RCLB continues to be a welcoming and thriving community for players and families of all ages and skill levels.
